Broccoli Sprouts: As much nutritional punch in 2 tablespoons as there is in 1 pound of broccoli

Broccoli sprouts have as much of the cancer fighting nutrient sulforaphane as 1 lb of broccoli.
Sulforphane helps to detoxify more harmful forms of estrogen and chemicals, protects against inflammation and works as an antioxidant. Studies support it may help protect against stomach ulcers and improve mental health as well.

Sprouts are a great way to get A TON of nutrition in a small amount of space. Sprout any kind of seed (flax, chia, sunflower, etc)
If you are immunocompromised, cook sprouts instead of eating raw.

Broccoli sprouts are available in most stores or you can DIY.
Sprinkle 1 tbsp of sprouts on each “level” of the sprouter.
Add 6oz water once per day and pour out of the bottom level.
Check back in in 3-5 days for homegrown sprouts.
You can use ANY kind of seed!

Eat them as is or toss on top of a sandwich, salad or in soup. Enjoy!
